1. Acceptance of Terms

By joining the Tend waitlist or using the Tend app, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use our service.

2. Beta Access

Tend is currently in beta. This means:

  • The app may have bugs or incomplete features
  • We may make changes without notice
  • Beta access is free, but may transition to paid after launch
  • We may revoke beta access at our discretion

3. Use of Service

You agree to:

  • Use Tend only for its intended purpose (friendship maintenance)
  • Not reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the app
  • Not use Tend for any illegal or harmful purposes
  • Keep your account credentials secure

4. Privacy and Data

Tend processes your iMessage data locally on your Mac. We never see your message content. See our Privacy Policy for details.

5. Pricing and Payments

  • Beta access is currently free
  • After beta, pricing will be $4.99/month or $49/year
  • Beta testers receive a lifetime 50% discount
  • Payments are processed by Stripe
  • You can cancel your subscription anytime
  • Refunds are available within 30 days of purchase

6. Disclaimers

Tend is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee:

  • That the app will be error-free or always available
  • That relationship scores are perfectly accurate
  • That using Tend will improve your friendships (though we hope it helps!)

7. Limitation of Liability

We're not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Tend. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us (if anything).

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms. If we make material changes, we'll email you. Continued use after changes means you accept the new terms.

9. Termination

You can stop using Tend anytime by uninstalling the app. We can terminate your access if you violate these terms or for any other reason.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of [Your State/Country]. Any disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration.
